Build the per-patent dashboard, the claim-element matching pipeline, and the evidence-grade export. You will own a vertical slice from Neon migrations to React, alongside the founder.

• 5+ years shipping production TypeScript / Next.js / Postgres
• Pragmatic about LLMs (you have shipped at least one product with them in the loop)
• Comfortable owning the build + ship + support loop with one customer at a time
• Bonus: prior IP, legal-tech, or biotech-data exposure

Qualified patent attorney or technical analyst. You define the claim-element parsing rubric, calibrate the confidence model, write the playbook for what counts as evidence-grade.

• Patent attorney qualification (UK Chartered, USPTO Reg., or EPO EQE) or equivalent claim-chart drafting experience
• Hands-on with prior-art and freedom-to-operate work in pharma, software, or hardware
• Comfortable working alongside engineers on prompt design + evaluation
• Strong opinions on what should never trigger an unjustified threats claim

• Prior commercial role inside a TTO, IP licensing firm, or a B2B SaaS targeting the legal vertical
• Comfortable on a 15-minute discovery call without a script
• Will turn customer feedback into a roadmap that engineering can ship in days, not quarters
• Patent-curious, not just sales-curious

Help us tag training-grade claim charts, label confidence calibration sets, and stress-test the agent against real granted patents. Excellent route into a full-time IP research seat after.

• Pursuing or completed a science/engineering/law degree, interest in patents
• Comfortable reading granted claims and identifying limitation structure
• Patient, detail-oriented, and curious about where AI works and where it doesn't
• Paid at competitive London internship rates
